Andersson Bell returns this season with their unorthodox take on staple patterns, such as the Depot Camouflage Cargo Shorts that present a hardware-forward take on milspec-turned-casual clothing.

Camo fabric tends to hide a lot of details (that’s the whole point) so it’s worth taking a closer inspection of AB’s application of it. They’ve kept the baggy fit of the shorts without going into balloon territory, which still provides enough real estate for the big mesh base cargo pockets. The zip fly is located on the outer face of the shorts – introducing some visual detail but also a potential challenge for wayward obstructions.
